How will I work with you?
I offer a variety of modalities and seek to find the right balance of what works for you. Some clients may choose to use more traditional talk therapy modalities or a “top-down approach,” such as Internal Family Systems therapy or “parts work,” Cognitive Behavioral therapy, motivational Interviewing, or Existential therapy.
Other clients may lean toward more somatic modalities or a “bottom-up approach,” such as Somatic Experiencing and Brainspotting. Yet other clients may prefer a more transpersonal, spiritual, or animistic approach.
Utilizing a variety of modalities, we can work together to find what works best for you. I utilize a social justice lens and am LQBTQ+ affirming. I believe that connection is healing. I believe that many of us can benefit from building community, connecting with nature, from embracing our messy humanity, and from rewilding ourselves.

I provide psychotherapy using any or all of these approaches, in addition to utilizing mindfulness techniques. I work to create a non-judgmental, safe(r) space to hold I seek to empower you to make the decisions in your therapy, while also seeking to challenge you and find your edge.
As a therapist, perfection is not possible. This can be very humbling. I remain committed to never stop growing and learning, both personally and professionally. However, I am human and I will make mistakes. I will be one of your biggest cheerleaders AND I will hold you accountable. I offer a great deal of compassion, while also being very direct.
*Please note: I do swear in sessions.
